The Project Type field allows you to specify whether a project will be used to bill clients on an Hourly or Fixed Fee basis.
In Time59 you will specify a project for every time record you enter.
For hourly projects the amount the client is billed is calculated as time X hourly rate (as specified by the project) for each time record.
For fixed projects you will still enter time records, but regardless of the amount of time you record, the client is billed a fixed amount (as specified by the project).
Select the "Hourly" option if you intend to bill the client on a traditional hourly basis.
Select one of the two "Fixed" options if you intend to bill the client on a fixed fee basis. You can choose to have time records appear or not appear on invoices.
